Super Set

Recently we found an incredible bedroom set.  It is the Symmetry line by Drexel and was created in 1957.  One of the unique aspects of this set is that it is made of teak, oak and rosewood.  Teak and rosewood are common in Scandinavian furniture but very rare in American furniture.   Furthermore most vintage bedroom sets have been broken up over time.  It was wonderful to find a complete set including lowboy dresser with mirror, two nightstands, Queen / Full bed, and highboy dresser.

Lastly, we upholstered and sold this set of teak dining chairs.

We picked up a huge load of furniture in the last few days.  All of the details will be coming in another post later this week.
