Mid Century Mondays // 44

This week our focus was on finishing the Dux sofa we have been working on and getting our house ready for the homecoming of Millie, our ten week old corgi puppy.

Nearly all of our shelving has been purchased so I made a little all unit using some extra teak shelves that I had in storage.  One items that I bought this weekend was the aluminum 9 bottle wine rack designed by Luis Gallardo.  SOLD.

Pair of typesetting trays which are painted slate grey.  For sale at Hawthorne Vintage $45 each.

Our big project this week was reupholstering this sofa which was designed by Folke Olhsson for Dux.
SOLD.  More details can be seen in our previous post

Another change that we made to our space is that we switched out the Persian rug that had been in our space for this West Elm Pebble rug.

Meet Millie!  Here she is with Chris looking very inquisitive.

Millie was very concerned during the ride home she howled a lot at the beginning but mellowed out by the time we got home.

After getting a tour of our home Millie found a comfy spot on a soft blanket.

After a long exciting day Millie laid down for a nap.

Due to our late post we will not be hosting a link up.  Please check back next week to share your finds.
