Mid Century Mondays // 30

This was another fine weekend of picking.  I went to many garage and estate sales. Here is what was found.
My favorite find of the weekend was this pair of Eames arm shell chairs.  They are currently being refinished and will be up for auction on eBay shortly. (Update *Sold on eBay).

This Danish lounge chair frame. We will make some more cushions for it this week.

The last set of lawn darts that I found sold it just a few minutes. This set is still available on Etsy. (SOLD)

Wonderful set of solid walnut armchairs.  Sold at Hawthorne Vintage.

Set of mod nesting tables with solid oak tops. These are very unique! (Update * Refinished and now available at Hawthorne Vintage)

Mid Century Mondays // 25

This was another fantastic weekend of picking.  Here is a day by day breakdown of what we found.

Friday:  On Friday I went to a great sale where I was the only mcm buyer.  I was able to get all the pieces I wanted with no competition.

The white Bretford floor lamp has now been rewired and is now available at Hawthorne Vintage for $75.  The Eames arm shell chair is the first one that I have found this year.  The plycraft style chair needs some work and an ottoman.  It should be available in a few weeks.

Saturday:  On Saturday I shopped at the Eastmoreland neighborhood garage sale.  It is the largest neighborhood sale in Portland with 143 garage sales. It was a great experience and I discovered some incredible finds.

Richard Nissen rosewood and chrome candleholder.  SOLD on Etsy.

I was surprised to find two black Plycraft style chairs in two days.  SOLD

My favorite find of the weekend was this pair of Spoleto chairs by Marcel Breuer.  SOLD on eBay.

Sunday: On Sunday I didn't find anything at my usual flea market stop but I went to an auction and left with the one lot that I came for.

Set of 4 Thonet armchairs.  Will be reupholstered and available soon.

What did you find this week?

Flea Market Finds // 11/25/12

We had a great time at the flea market this morning. We only found two pieces but we are thrilled with what we found.  Chris found a wonderful set of theater seats and Heather found a beautiful rug.

3 Tandem Antique Theater Seats. Dimensions 59'' long x 33'' tall x 20'' deep. For Sale at VDC $200.
Once we got it home Chris sanded and stained a 3/4'' piece of plywood and attached it to the base.
I think it came out of a church or Christian school because
it has compartments for hymnals and communion cups
Native American Style Woven Wool Rug in Fall Colors. 57'' wide x 90'' long.
For Sale at Hawthorne Vintage $400.
