Last fall we took a trip to Scandinavia. During the week that we spent in Denmark we became fascinated with the designs of Hans Wegner. We especially loved the design of his wishbone dining chairs. This weekend we found a set of 4 of them. They are a wonderful addition to our dining room.

The one project that I finished this weekend was refinishing this unique teak flip top dining table.
It sold right away.
That dining table reminds me of the tea or game tables from the earlier part of the 20th century. We ended up with one of those when we bought our house (the owner didn't want to keep his grandmother's table!). The way it spins on the diagonal point and opens across the under box, so no additional supports are needed, is brilliant!
