Mid-Week Picking // Thursday

On Thursday I got to head out to an estate and purchase many pieces of mid century furniture and housewares.  All of the pieces were beautiful and in excellent conditions.  They are now available at Hawthorne Vintage.  Prices can be seen on our "Currently For Sale" page.

My favorite piece of furniture was this Milo Baughman designed etagere.  It's enormous and beautiful and even more impressive in person.  Many of the smalls I purchased are displayed on it.

Rare sculpted wood armchair designed by Kipp Stewart for the Centennial line by Drexel.  SOLD

My favorite housewares buy was this complete Dorothy Thorpe punch set.

Retro wood and brass bar cart.  Has already been sold.

Beautiful map of the Pacific Northwest divided by Indian tribes and languages.  SOLD

Framed U.S. Geological Survey map of Oregon.

Last but not least I added a huge teak viking to our collection.
