Mid Century Mondays // 17

This weekend we kept busy and did quite a bit of shopping.  Our efforts were rewarded with quite a few great finds!

The one Danish find this weekend was this teak bookcase.  Available at Hawthorne Vintage at $195.

While we primarily buy modern pieces machinist tool chests are always a popular industrial item.  SOLD

I was surprised to find these lovely vintage handmade Latvian pillows.

I kept busy during the week making this reclaimed wood coffee table.  This is the first one that I have added any color to.  SOLD

Last week a customer at the Portland Flea asked me to build a tripod lamp.  I hunted all week and found this amazing dental lamp and an adjustable Ries Model C tripod. SOLD

Military chest coffee table.  SOLD

Industrial steel small parts cabinet.  SOLD

 Vintage atomic plant stand.  SOLD

Taxidermy bull horns now available at Hawthorne Vintage for $65.

Last but not least this vintage patio rocking chair.  It is just what our front porch needed!

What did you find this week?

  2. Dang, you guys had a great week! I'm currently trying to rationalize the machinist tool chest, it's awesome. But then again so it the reclaimed wood table...and if that rocking chair was for sale it'd be mine in a heart beat! It's so cool!

  3. I'm always amazed at your finds (and your restoration skills!). I have a couple of re-upholstery projects that so far have just sat in the garage since I have no idea how to go about them. Maybe one of these days! Oh, and I love that plant stand! -Melissa @ Scavenger Hunt

  7. I love that chair! I coveted a set on Etsy forever before they finally sold to someone other than me.
